Dear Shooters, Coaches, and Families,

It is with great pleasure we invite all young shooters worldwide to participate in this very first staging of the Hans Christian Andersen City Games, a major sporting event, which also features a Shooting Tournament. The Games are planned to be a recurring event taking place in Odense, Denmark, in the beginning of July each year with Shooting as one of 18 sports to be represented.

The aim and purpose of the Games is to gather young athletes from all over the world to have fun and learn from each other.

The Hans Christian Andersen City Games are organised in collaboration with DDS, DDS FYN, Danish Shooting Union and Svendborg Skyttekreds.

Location
The Hans Christian Andersen City Games Badminton Camp is held in Svendborg – one of the most beautiful cities of Denmark. Svendborg is situated 45 km from Odense, reachable in just 30 minutes via the newly built highway between the two cities. Odense is the third largest city in Denmark, just 2½ hours by car from Hamburg (Germany), 1½ hours by car or train from Copenhagen, and 1 hour by car from Billund International Airport.
